I bring nearly three decades of experience working in addiction and mental health — not from behind a desk, but on the front lines, in every area of addiction and mental health. That includes co-occurring disorders, where addiction and mental health don't show up separately but tangled together in ways that make both harder to treat.
I've worked in withdrawal management, residential treatment, outpatient programs, harm reduction, family support, and crisis intervention. I've sat with people at their lowest moments and walked alongside them through recovery. That experience doesn't come from a textbook.
I'm an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsellor, a Canadian Problem Gambling Counsellor, and a Canadian Certified Telemedicine Addiction Counselling Professional. I also teach Addiction and Mental Health at the college level.
My approach is trauma-informed, harm reduction focused, and built around you — not a formula. I draw from CBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and family systems work to tailor support that actually fits your life.
I work with adults and youth (14+) navigating substance use, mental health challenges, anxiety, burnout, life transitions, relationship struggles, and the lasting impact of growing up in a home touched by addiction.
Above all — I meet you where you are. Without judgment, pressure, or labels.
